1. Knowing how to operate a successful retail business before you come to the Amazon Site. This will enable you to recognize how Amazon will extract as much of your profit as they can get.
2. Sell only products that buyers want and need. These are the products that sell themselves with no additional help.
3. Sell your product(s) at the lowest price offering. The lowest price offering always sells before those offering the same item at higher prices.
4. Sorce your products from the manufacturer, not the middleman distributor. This way you will be buying at the lowest wholesale pricing.
5. Understand advertising and the pitfalls that come with it. The bottom line in advertising that no one will tell you is, advertising will not sell a product that no one wants and if you have a good selling product in is not necessary.
6. Having a short effective title that can be easily found in the Amazon browser is worth its weight in gold in online sales. A+, deals, coupons, price discounts, promotions, brand profile, and videos are worthless if no one can find your product.

cheating reviews
breaking TOS for photos
over spending on PPC
that's what everyone does and Amazon doesn't care. I suffered for playing by the rules.

You should look up and follow Ezra Firestone for marketing strategies. He gives a lot of great info and his videos are free.

PureLifeNUTRITION website says "Join a network of successful distributors and enjoy exclusive benefits and support."
Reminds me of the promises that Amway has been doing for many decades and yet nobody ever gets rich!
You're better off advertising on Google Ads instead of here, since you have so many outlets selling your stuff.
Oh! if you're one of the "successful distributors" they mention, then good luck differentiating your products from the 1000's of Chinese sellers pushing the same stuff on here!!

Few more observations, from my perspective:
1. Sponsored ads campagnes if you run for a long time, they just spend more, and more money.
2. Sometimes I feel that sponsored ads do not help- if key words are too popular, people visit, not buy... pagerank is going down.
3. Last day of sponsored campagnes is always the best, the first 2-3 days not working well.
4. Posts work ok, good to test how people react to information.
