Selling Physically Non-Branded Items on Branded Listings
Hello @Michelle_Amazon
I hope you are having a good day!
I saw you answer a similar question on the Amazon forums.
Can you tell me is it against policy to sell non-branded products on branded listings?
From my understanding of policy the physical product must have the brand permanently affixed to it or it's packaging and it must match the brand stated on the listing. If the product has no brand it must be listed under a generic listing.
I have a competitor who sells unbranded and generic products under a branded listing so customers don't actually receive the brand they think they are purchasing and it allows the competitor have advantage over others as they are just selling cheaper generic goods.
Thanks in advance!

As a seller, you are responsible to list and sell on ASINs that *exactly* match the product you are selling. So, if you have a non-branded product, you CANNOT list it on a branded ASIN.

Then you have to post the case ID.
did you buy such a product and complain as customer? Exactly describing the differences between the listed product and the received product? Amazon WILL react to that and remove that seller.
