Request to Revert Size Normalization for Parent ASIN: B0DJFMCVN4
Hi, @Blake_Amazon @Danny_Amazon @CR_Amazon @Jameson_Amazon @Seller_DkD2wXiirQvgx@Glenn_Amazon@Cooper_Amazon
I have noticed that Amazon is automatically altering the product size values for most of the ASINs associated with our listings. These changes replace the original sizes we input in the back end and create confusion for our customers.
Examples of size changes include:
Original size: 20" x 30" → Amazon replaced size: 2'.6" x 1'.8" (Oval)
Original size: 27" x 45" → Amazon replaced size: 3'9" x 2'3" (Oval)
Original size: 2' x 3' → Amazon replaced size: 3' x 2' (Rectangular)
These adjustments are not user-friendly, disrupt the intended display of our listings, and do not align with the search analytics data relevant to our brand.
Impact on Sales
The new size formats do not match customer search behavior based on the following frequently used queries:
Search Queries:
oval braided rug 8x10
braided rug 8x10
natural jute rug 8x10
8x10 area rugs
braided oval rugs 8x10
...and many more related to standard size formats.
The new Amazon-replaced sizes (e.g., 3'9" x 2'3", 6' x 4', 10' x 8') do not correspond with these searches, negatively impacting our visibility and sales performance.
Request for Action
I kindly request that you:
Revert the size values for the associated Child ASINs under Parent ASIN B0DJFMCVN4 to reflect the original sizes entered in the back end.
If possible, disable or stop the new size normalization for our brand products to prevent further inconsistencies.
Intended Size Format
Please use the following format for all associated ASINs:
22" x 72"
20" x 30"
27" x 45"
4' x 6'
6' x 9'
5' x 8'
8' x 10'
Your assistance in resolving this issue is greatly appreciated. Please let me know if you require further details or clarification.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

Amazon is doing a mass change of how certain things are displayed on the detail page.
None of this is announced. I doubt the moderators know much about it either.
I sell something that comes in Small, Medium, and Large but my size was changed to "Pack of 1". I found out that there is nothing I can do as this change is done internally to improve presentation. (In the eyes of Amazon).
I suspect something similar is happening with you.

Good Morning @Seller_kTSoqPtmrqFDC,
I wanted to follow up with you to see if you still required assistance with updating your listing for ASIN B0DJFMCVN4? I took a look at CASE ID 17011545151 that you provided and the last note from Selling Partner Support was: "We checked and see that the recent submission is on January 07, 2025 and you have performed partial update. In order to update, you need to delete and re-list."
Please confirm you have taken those actions and share with us whether or not that guidance helped you with updating the listing. If you still require assistance, please let us know and I can escalate to one of our internal teams once I receive confirmation from you.
I look forward to hearing back from you soon. Have a fabulous rest of your Friday!
Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon
