Ineligible for Featured Offer on Custom Products

My business sells custom personalized products and I decided to give Amazon Custom a try. Signed up for a Professional Sellers account and created a couple products. After just a couple days, I’m considering canceling my Professional Sellers account

Problem is that my product listings have a “no featured offers available message” and a see all buying options button. The no featured offers section goes on to say that no offers meet Amazons high standards for: Quality, Price, Reliable delivery option, and a Seller who offers good customer service. Wow, talk about discouraging anybody from ever buying this item. With a statement like that, I don’t know if I would even buy it. I have no idea why Amazon would put that statement there. My product quality is the highest available, price is lower than most competitors, ship with the major carriers and haven’t had any customer interactions yet on Amazon

I contacted support and they informed me that Im not eligible to be the featured offer and Selling Partner Support will not be able to provide any further information as to why. They then referred me to an article on how to be the featured offer and then just ending the chat. Wow again. The article says

“How to be Eligible for the Featured Offer, You must have a Professional Selling Plan. Your Order Defect Rate, Cancellation Rate, and Late Shipment Rate are metrics that help determine eligibility - the better you perform, the higher your chances are of becoming Featured Offer eligible. You can see how you're doing on the Account health page”

I have the Professional Sellers plan, my Account Health says Healthy. No defect rate, cancellation or late shipments. Haven’t had any orders yet and probably won’t the way things are.

Is it just me or does Amazon not want my business ever selling custom products on their platform? How are you supposed to get any of the metrics they are looking for when they put a big “warning label” on the product listing saying it doesn’t meet Amazons high standards. Anybody ever run into this?

Good Morning @Seller_MZWlDwhVIARgx - I just wanted to check in with you to see if you still need some assistance with figuring out why some of your listings are no longer eligible to be the featured offer?

If you have a Selling Partner Support case ID, I can begin investigating the issue more thoroughly.

I also have a few help pages about how to improve your chances of being the featured offer and why a listing may become ineligible.

I look forward to hearing back from you soon. In the meantime please take care and have a wonderful rest of the week. ~ Cooper_Amazon
