I sell into the United States but have an inquiry from Denmark

A potential buyer in Denmark set me an inquiry on some of my listings. I'm not set up to sell into Europe. Is there some way to sell items to him without getting suspended by Amazon?

You may allow International for your dot com listings.

I would urge you not to do this -- but your choice. Do not allow international without first finding out just what it will cost you to ship.

This assumes you are on the professional plan and can set your shipping charge for international. If on the individual plan -- really bad idea.

My advice: "I am sorry, but we do not offer international options for our listings."

The buyer can always work around this by using a freight forwarder. I DO NOT recommend that you mention this. That sounds as if you are endorsing this, so then anything that goes wrong will be your fault.

Hi @Seller_oH7jxwEQe9OOQ,

Dominic from Amazon here, buyers from outside of the US can use the .com domain to purchase products not available from their local Amazon site, in this case Amazon it would be Amazon.de.

  • At checkout, customers will see the shipping options, costs, and estimated delivery times for their location in Denmark. This would be set via your shipping template for international orders.
  • Import fees, duties, and taxes may apply to orders shipped to Denmark.

Best,

Dominic
