VTR again
Quick question please.
ALL of my packages are sent 48 tracked. However... my VTR rate is below 95%.
When i download the report. All of the the tracking numbers are shown in column D. But column I has "Valid Tracking" "No" The tracking numbers are valid though!
However......If i check the tracking on the Royal Mail website they state "Sorry, we're currently unable to confirm the status of your item with reference OE478957339GB . Please try again tomorrow.
The only thing i can think of is that Royal Mail are not scanning some the parcels. I have checked with some customers and their parcels are arriving.
Any ideas please ? I cannot see how i can get over a 95% VTR

Provided you are using Tracked 48 - it won't matter as Amazon state they validate the unscanned labels before taking any action.
Yes you'll get warning emails and it'll warn you on your dashboard - but amazon still state they won't do anything
Are you shipping low volume? As it is a surprise that its even that low with Tracked 48, we've never gone below 99%.

I'm noticing quite a high proportion of parcels not being scanned on delivery at the moment. it used to be pretty good.
Saying that my VTR is 100% because the 'better' orders get sent Tracked 48/24 and the rest is bought through Amazon.
Anecdotally I've heard the scanners don't like the rain.

...I wouldn't do that - you could be opening a whole new can of worms by doing so!

I'm having the same issues with Yodel at the moment. My VTR is down below 15%! Tracking numbers are correct, work fine. Tried speaking to Amazon but just got the robotic response of 'please check the VTR policy' and 'we recommend to use Amazon shipping'
