Customer Requested Return for a broken item before our item was even delivered to them - and then sent us back a broken item that was not ours
They shipped us back the broken item that they had ordered earlier from another seller.

What are we supposed to do? I don't want to issue the refund because he return label was issued before our package even arrived. We are newer sellers and have never encountered this before and are not sure of how to deal with the customer. It appears as though we are being scammed by the customer.

If you feel the buyer abused the returns/refund policy, please go ahead and submit a SAFE-T claim from your Seller Central dashboard, the link above has the instructions on how to file a reimbursement claim.
