New Amazon seller deactivated. I did everything they asked and they aren't replying.
I have become extremely angry. I’ve spent 2 and a half weeks with my new Amazon seller account suspended and have done everything Amazon has asked to verify my account. Now they won’t even reply or fix my account now that everything is finished including a Face ID check. Is Amazon always this ridiculous? Should I run while I can? Two and a half weeks to start selling on a platform is beyond ridiculous and no customer service replies after I spent my time and efforts to do all verifications asked for.

Based on what you sell, absolutely. This promises to be one headache after another and if you do manage to get your products listed my guess is that you will have an excess of people making false claims to get your products for free.

So, Yes Amazon can be much worse, and more ridiculous than you could ever imagine.
2-1/2 weeks can be a short time period for Amazon to investigate any future issues you may encounter.
And if you are successful you may find your funds withheld for 30-60 days or more while Amazon performs a "Velocity Review" (anytime you have a surge or spike in sales- totally undefined in case you want to ask)....
Seller Support is not a thing.... most information is found by asking on these forums
**although Amazon has gelded most of the experienced Sellers who now no longer offer sage advice, aside from the few of us they just don't give a shcritap.. cuz we've tangled with Amazon authority in the past---- (with varying results and punishments)
However.... if you have a legitimate product, have never watched a "How to make easy money on Amazon" Youtube videos and have a pricing advantage (manufacturer, distributor or other lawful angle)...
then you have a real opportunity available on Amazon.
Spend a week reading the forum.
Slog through Seller University.
Start small and branch up and out
Don't expect any one from Amazon to help too much.
and remember that Amazon is not your partner, not your friend and doesn't wan to help you become successful.
Amazon wants to profit from your efforts.
If you can get past all that... Welcome and good selling awaits (or not...)
