Getting this message while adding a new product to inventory "externally_assigned_product_identifier' is required but not supplied"?

Hi,

We are getting the following message while adding an item to the inventory. How do we get past this screen and add a new item in our inventory? In other words, how do we get an ASIN?

are you reselling branded goods that have a manufacturer EAN on them or are you using your own EANs from GS1 ?

and what are you selecting in the product ID dropdown ?

Hi, its our own product but it doesnt have EAN and we are chosing ASIN.
