What should I do with a lost package?
A package was delayed by UPS and the customer said that he called UPS and they told him that the package was lost and he should ask the seller for a replacement. Upon checking the tracking number, the package says delayed but that it might be delivered today. I called UPS and made the claim but they haven't told me if the package is lost or not.
I don't want to get an A to Z for this that is not our fault but I also don't want to send a replacement for something that might still be delivered.
What is the best approach?

If it's supposed to be delivered today you wait until the end of the day and see if it actually got delivered.
I have several boxes coming today and the UPS tracking shows this:
Estimated delivery
Today, October 16 by 7:00 P.M.
Past Event
Label Created
Past Event
On the Way
Current Event
Out for Delivery
The buyer should be able to see that OR you could copy what you see and send a note saying that it is due to arrive today.

I think the buyer probably added that part on his own. 🙄
