no recommendations on lighting deal or best deal all the time
I am curious why our product has not been recommended for any deal sale events. Even though our product has reached the top 8 in its category ranking, it still hasn't been recommended for a deal sale event, and this situation has persisted for six months. Additionally, I have noticed a phenomenon where lower-ranked products are being recommended for Amazon's BD, but higher-ranked ones are not, even for the small lighting deal.
Has any seller experienced this situation?

Yes.
I have no idea why this happens.
I imagine that Amazon believes that Amazon products with good ranks do not require a lightning deal while products with lower ranks might improve with lightning deals....thereby raising Amazon sales all around.

Hello @Seller_BbWgI0TULSxaS- and thanks for asking this here on the seller forums.
It is possible that items may not receive deal recommendations at times, per this help page resource on Amazon Deals:
"Note: Because of other criteria that Amazon is unable to disclose, it is possible that certain ASINs may not receive a recommendation although they meet the criteria listed above. Amazon Deals is an invite-only program. If you do not have an active ASIN recommendation for deals, you may use other promotion-types like Price Discounts or Coupons."
I apologize if this causes any strain on your business, but I do hope you can look into the other promotion types if you haven't already!
Thanks,
Danny
