Buy Shipping Expedited - Shipping Method Mistakes?

Hello.

Does anyone know how you can offer an expedited shipping method and prevent mistakes?

I haven't tested to see if Amazon have any settings in place, but basically what's to stop you accidentally using a standard service?

For example if you send 100 standard (2nd class) orders a day and then 2 of them are first class or even special delivery, it seems easy to accidentally miss they paid extra for this, does anyone else know about this or have any measures in place?

I'd be grateful for any insights on this or experiences!

It all depends on how you manage your orders.

It’s easier if you have order management software or even Click & Drop where you can set shipping rules that sort out the service to be used.

But it still means you have to put packages in the right bags otherwise they’ll get mixed up.

You need to find a way that suits your operation.

They cant pay extra for first class, if they pay for premium shipping it has to be tracked or signed for so you should be able to filter by premium shipping

you seem to be asking how you can avoid human error? Or I suppose at least mitigate the risk? Double check would be the answer I suppose!

If you are offering premium shipping you will see in your manage orders both an additional flag on the order, you can filter on premium shipping orders, you’ll see an additional postage value, it’ll state you need to deliver it quicker etc.

We use an integrator that maps them all in and out system is automated to link into the various couriers

If you miss all of that then unfortunately it’s that old human error…
