Fees have changed and I don't know why
I started selling a product on amazon last month (around 3 weeks ago) and my fees were £4.44 per item. Item cost £12.99
Since yesterday my fees are now being charged at £2.05 with an occasional but rare £4.44.
Does anyone know why this has happened? I haven’t changed the price so have no idea why im being charged more than 50percent less.

Also the item is only 10cm x 2cm x 1cm and weighs 10g.
Was I possibly getting charged too much at £4.44 and it’s been corrected. In hindsight it seems very high.

I have a similar question if someone can help please.
How/Why/When are ‘FBA fee discounts’ applied? They seem to appear randomly in ‘Inventory Manager’ - great when they do, removing the FBA fee for a product, but I can’t work out what triggers them to start/stop.
Previously had the benefit on one ASIN, now on a different one. Any ideas?

We have been having a similar problem for months in multiple countries and across multiple ASINs/SKUs - so far Amazon have been really struggling to get the fees fixed. They don’t seem to be able to understand what has happened. The problem seems to be at a SKU level though so try creating a new SKU to get round it - not ideal if you have a lot of stock against the existing SKU with the incorrect fee but potentially less painful and quicker than waiting 3-4 months for Amazon to still not get it fixed.

Are you a new seller? I’m not sure how long it lasts for but in order to help new sellers, Amazon will not charge the referral fee for the first 10 days of each month.
