Clarification on GST/HST and Tax Handling in SKU Economics Report

Hi

I am currently reviewing the SKU Economics report to analyze the financial performance of my products and have a few questions regarding how taxes are handled in the report:

1. Does the "Net Proceeds per Item" column include the GST/HST collected on my sales, or is this amount excluded from the net proceeds?

2. Does the report account for the GST/HST that I am required to report to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA)? If not, which report should I refer to for accurate details on the GST/HST collected on my sales?

3. Are taxes collected on Amazon seller fees, FBA fees, and other related charges included or reflected in the SKU Economics report? If so, could you provide guidance on where and how these taxes are reported within the document?

Thank you for support and help.

"Net Proceeds per sku calculated from Sales, Cost and Fee data"

would not include sales tax since tax is collected for the government, not for the seller's profit.

Hello @The_Urban,

Thanks for your question, this is Lucre from Amazon forums. 👩‍💼

Please know that all GST/HST collected on your sales will be available in this report, including FBA orders. However, this report only contains data about your sales and not seller fees.

I would like to guide you on how to find these on the report, however I can't download it on your behalf due to security. Here's a pretty good help page for you to refer to and find this data:

Hope this helps!
