A to Z claim lost with signature confirmation
Hello Fellow Sellers,
I am seeking your advice and support regarding an issue we recently encountered with an A-to-Z claim on Amazon. We lost a claim even though we provided FedEx signature confirmation showing that the package, valued at over $2000, was delivered and signed for by the recipient.
Here are the details:
The customer filed a chargeback stating they did not receive their package. We provided FedEx signature confirmation indicating the packages were delivered and signed for at the delivery address. Despite this evidence, Amazon sided with the buyer, forcing us to refund the order. This decision seems extremely unfair and undermines the reliability of using signature confirmation as proof of delivery.
When we appealed, the response we received was, "Even though we understand your position, we stand by our decision."
