My products are listed under a wrong brand
Hi, I wish to update a list of ASINs from my brand which was listed under a wrong brand. I had already created several cases for the ASINs but they were rejected because I'm not the brand owner for the current brand listed on the product page.
Most of the product pages are correct except the brand name. We saw other sellers that we know as offline retailers, so they are selling the correct products not counterfeit, so we are not able to report any kind of violation. But some of the product title is wrong and the brand name is wrong. How can I make the correction in this case? The current GS1 barcode is listed correctly with our brand, so it is impossible for us to create a new barcode for the same item as we are not rebranding our products.

That sounds shady. Did YOU CREATE that listing? With YOUR brand? And somebody changed your brand and that listing? Is your brand registered with the USPTO?

From what I can see after investigating, the current brand name may not be matching what it was at creation as you mentioned. In order for me to have everything I need to correct this, please the below steps and send me the complaint ID once you have it!
- Submit a report through the "Report Abuse" feature
- Select "Product detail page was changed to represent a different product"
- We suggest sellers to provide relevant details such as when the ASIN was created, by whom, and what the brand name was originally, if possible
