Is there an issue with disbursements and bank accounts suddenly showing as 'Not verified'?
Hi all.
As usual, I initiated a manual disbursement of funds this morning but oddly didn't receive the immediate ("We sent your payout") email to acknowledge it. I have noticed (in Account Settings > Payment Information > Bank Account Information) - that our bank account deposit method is now showing as "Not verified" - which is strange as this bank account has been the same one used on Amazon for over 10yrs, with no changes. Clicking the link 'Verify account' (bank account / deposit method) brings me to a page which says 'Invalid'. I am assuming this is either a technical issue - which is why I am reluctant to click the other option ('Replace deposit method') by using the same bank details.
Is this part of an automatic re-verification process by Amazon? I can see a few other sellers have also been affected by this issue but curious to know how widespread this is as I think this has only become apparent since our last disbursement on the 24th Dec - which initiated fine.
With the Christmas and New Year holiday It seems an odd time to be asked to update account settings, hence curious to know if this is a wide-spread technical issue...

Me thinks this is happening to an awful lot of people, the internet is awash with people complaining about this ... lots and lots.. , seems Amazon have found another way to hold onto cash whilst gleaning interest on those amounts ...
Funny how its happening at a time when sellers have the most cash in their accounts eh ..how convenient.. but not for sellers ...
Everyones accounts are in good standing, everyones bank accounts are verified no one has any issues with their accounts or bank accounts at all ...
I just called them direct to be told "all we can do is open a ticket and they will reply to you in 24 hours" WHO IS THEM??? why cant we speak to THEM ??

I have tried to re verify the payment method however it still does not work, my account has been deactivated since the 21st, Amazon seller support not helpful and I just receive the same automated emails.

We also have this problem, we have been on Amazon well over 10 years using the same verified bank account.
It now appears that my deposit account needs to be verified in spite of the fact it has never changed.
I have tried to do this via Account Info > Payment Information > Bank Account Information but when I click the Verify Account button I get the following error:

I have contacted Amazon and have been told:
"This issue requires further investigation from our internal team and I have reached out to the relevant team to complete the investigation. Please be advised that your case remains open and is currently being worked on by our internal teams. We will contact you as soon as we have an update or if we require further information."
In the mean time we cannot access our cleared funds but our related bills still have to be paid!

Yes we are having the same problem. Account not verified - tried to verify and an error message came up immediately. Case Open and they are saying we need to verify account but obviously can not. Does any one have any updates or other suggestions?

I hate Amazon seller support with such passion it makes my blood boil.
The one and only thing they have ever done consistently is provide ZERO support to sellers.
Makes me think 'Seller support' is the biggest internal joke of Amazon - around the world!
