AZ Case Against me, yet I sent item Amazon Buy Shipping
@Maja_Amazon@Julia_Amazon@Winston_Amazon@Ash_AMZ
To the Mod's who might, just might read this.....
Why have you denied my AZ Appeal for an item that was sent Amazon Buy Shipping, when your policy is clear that a Sellers ODR is protected if an AZ case is open?
Order ref 206-3114564-7477142
It says, verbatim 'If you purchase Amazon's Buy Shipping and ship on time, you are protected against a-to-z claims where a customer reports problems with delivery. Those claims will not affect your Order Defect Rate'
Policy wording can be found here: https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/help/hub/reference/G200202220?locale=en_GB
Many sellers, including myself have complained about this before, and in most cases the ODR is reversed by a mod here on the Forum, so I am hoping this will be the case again, taking all the above in to account.

Thanks in advance
Steve

I have had several since Christmas, the recorded Royal Mail postage has been purchased from Amazon, items shipped on time, delivered and signed for, and then A-Z's opened for non-delivery. Sellers have been refunded from my money, my ODR affected have appealed all and all appeals have been denied on both the refund and the ODR affected. It is getting worse. I am beginning to think these appeals aren't even read anymore.

Yep, Amazon are not following their own policy.
On a recent A-Z where postage was purchased through Amazon, I pointed out (on appeal) that it should not affect my ODR but they just ignored me and said something along the lines of 'We're happy with our original decision and we're not going to change it.
Amazon: Don't have the policy if you're not going to uphold it?

Sadly this is more and more common. The A to Z scheme is not fit for purpose.
Its supposed to be fair and balanced.
Ok, so why cant you add evidence to a case ? and why when you can prove signature delivery at the customers address and provide this to amazon why do they just say no.
Its not right.

This has happened to me too many times. I had the first couple reversed (eventually) and then I had another couple that I could not get reversed. They counted on my ODR even though they should not have.
@Maja_Amazonwas looking into it. I was even categorically assured they were going put new procedures in place to stop this happening - but then they stopped responding on the issue and Support were also useless. They said if an item is not delivered then that is not a delivery problem!!
I gave up as it was just taking up too much of my time. I now refuse to use Buy Shipping and put everything through Click & Drop instead. At least that way I may qualify for volume discounts (which you do not if you sell on other marketplaces and split label purchase between Buy Shipping and Click & Drop). Ironically - A-Z Claims have been less since then as well - go figure.
