How to update the Right Brand name for 3p listing

Hi,

i need to update the right brand name because existing brand name is does not belong to the product and Right owner for existing brand sent notification through amazon mentioning that they don't sell this product so update the brand name. i have opened a case with seller support but only getting a template reply and no help. Kinldy help how to resolve this issue. @Dougal_Amazon

update the right brand name

A brand can NOT be changed in an existing listing. You have to create a new listing with the correct brand. No, there is no smart work around. It is like this.

For your safety ask the brand owner a "Letter of Authorization" allowing you to sell that brand on Amazon.

Thanks for posting here. As per the info given in case 17119793691, it wouldn't be possible to update the brand name due to the Amazon Brand Name policy. This policy does not allow brand name changes on existing ASINs. As @Seller_rI7BZIczK8iACmentioned, the recommended steps is to create a new ASIN for the rebranded product instead of changing the brand name on the existing ASIN to avoid customer confusion.
