Charge back Claim for cancelled orders????

Hi,

We've received 3 charge back claims for orders which have not been fulfilled???

We've been receiving orders from different accounts with incorrect, but very similar addresses with different names, its looks like the same customer trying to scam us (nothing new on Amazon). The addresses always looks similar for example: 35 Wellington St, Apt 4 ( upon checking the address 35 Wellington St its correct, but they are no apartments as the address shows as a single house). After 2 days we will receive the same order for the same item with the same address, but this time the address will be: 35 Wellington St, Apt 7. After couple of days we will receive the same order for the same item and the address will be: 35 Wellington St, Apt 9. The orders are always placed form different Amazon Account with a different name, but always for the same item. Initially when we received the first order we were trying to contact the customer multiple times to confirm the delivery address always without success. Once we received 3 or 4 of those orders we then realized that under the Phone number the orders always had something like: 123456789 or 987654321 and this was on all of the orders. So after receiving few of those type of orders we decided not to fulfill them as it was clear that something was not right. So we cancelled all of those orders and we did not fulfill, meaning we did not charge the customer!

And few weeks ago we started receiving Charge back claims for all of these orders, one after the other???? On the Charger back details says order number, order details and on Order amount: £0.00???

The first charge back was in favor of the customer and we were told by Amazon that this will be counted against our account and we will be charged for the order amount, which was for example £97.00 The other 2 are still under review. So we now expect to receive Charge back claims fr all of those orders which are 6 in total and if all of those claims are counted against our account, our Amazon Seller account will be most likely closed.

How a charge back claim for £0.00 amount can be in favor of the customer and why Amazon is telling us that the amount of the order will be deducted from our account and how this can be counted against our account it seriously mind-blowing for us as a business and the "funniest" thing is that we can't do anything about it and this so called "customer" can continue to place orders and can continue to submit charge back claims.

Has anyone dealt with such issue or similar one? We would love to get some advise as at the moment we are literally banging our heads against a wall.

Really cannot help or advise, but this seems to be a very cleverly thought out scam of the highest order.

There is a way of reporting customers for buying abuse, but I'm afraid to say I'm not sure where to find it now since they keep changing everything !

There is a way of reporting customers for buying abuse, but I'm afraid to say I'm not sure where to find it now since they keep changing everything !
