Warranty claim from A to Z

I received a claim from a customer. But look what happened:

Delivery of the package to the customer's home was scheduled with the UPS carrier for 08/22. The final delivery deadline was 08/23.

On the same day 22/08 that the product would be delivered, the customer changed the delivery address of the package by contacting the carrier. After the customer performed this action, the package was delivered 7 days later by UPS. After the product was delivered, the customer opened a warranty claim and Amazon refunded the purchase price.

Can I claim this and be successful? The product would be delivered within the correct timeframe, however, the customer requested a change of delivery location from the carrier and caused it to take a few more days to receive the package. I'm not at fault in this part, but I ended up being injured, what can I do?

Hopefully, the cost was under $35.00, because Amazon does not like paying our claims above that amount. Sure sounds like a scammer. All your buyer has to do is call customer Service and state they did not make the address change; the seller must have done it. I want a refund. Then the Rep on the phone refunds in full, from your account, and it shows up as an A-Z claim.

Good luck, as Amazon always takes the side of the buyer. Personally, we have taken buyers to court on high value items, and won, but there is a lot of gray area in the situation.

In addition, as @SEAmodsaid, the product was not shipped on time to qualify for a refund.
