Recieiving an item that is not recognised.

Hi

I am FBA seller.

Amazon has sent me an item that is not ours. There is no paperwork with the item. I cannot make the person on chat understand this simple thing.

Who do I return this item to?

I did not order it.

I did not request it.

I did not create a return for it on my sellerdeck. I don't sell this item. It is not my brand.

Hello @Seller_sgUFHge0EAyMu

First, I want to assure you that this type of mix-up, while rare, does occasionally happen.

In cases like this, where you've received an item that isn't yours and there's no accompanying paperwork, the best course of action is to contact Seller Support directly. I know you've already tried chat support, but sometimes these issues require a bit more attention.

I'd recommend calling Seller Support or opening a case through your Seller Central account. When you do, explain clearly that:

  • You've received an item that isn't yours
  • It's not a product you sell or have ever sold
  • You didn't create a return for it
  • There was no paperwork accompanying the item

Request that they provide you with a return label to send the item back to the correct Amazon fulfillment center. They should be able to generate this for you based on the item's details and your location.

In the meantime, keep the item safe and in its original condition. Don't open or use it, as it likely belongs to another seller or Amazon itself.

Christine.
