Sending out 2nd class post with FBM invalid Valid Tracking Rate

Hello,

I received an email this morning from Amazon saying sellers must provide valid tracking numbers for at least 95% of their shipments with integrated delivery service providers in all categories.

I wan unaware of this so my status is at 0%. I send out items that are less than £5 and stick a 2nd class stamp on them. How do i rectify this? I don't have the tracked service or receipts from the stamps.[Moderator Edit : personal data removed] panicked and left in a rush.

I've attached some screenshot in hope they will shred some light.

After some further investigating it seems Amazon shipments with Royal Mail 1st and 2nd class letter stamps will only be exempted if you buy them through Amazon Buy Shipping.

This is my mistake, I wonder if the Valid Tracking Rate percentage could have a reset. Hmm

What are you sending?

How are you sending them?

If its letters and you are sending them through royal mail and the post office then it has been the case for about 2 years plus that this will not work.

If the majority of your sale are small letter sized item then the only way to progress is to use amazon shipping and buy all your labels through there.

If you have a large amount of large letters and a small amount of letter then you can use the click and drop online system as they will provide a scan which amazon accepts (except for refund purchases when a customer claims non delivery) you will just need to bite the bullet and send the letters as large letters.

You cannot enter anything as stamped when confirming your'e postage.

Yopu will have a low vtr but everything has been done as per amazons requirements and they are meant to ajust behind the scenes for the low vtr as RM dont scan every ll generaly about 60-70%

I'm relatively new to selling on Amazon and your suggestions and tips are much appreciated. Thank you! I'll stick to buying from Amazon in the future.

May i suggest a small dialogue/tooltip on the confirm shipment page in regards to this to avoid silly peoples mistakes like myself.

Thank you,

Matthew
