Another GPSR Post
Hi All,
I have tried to check the various threads and GPSR help pages but cannot find an answer to these specific questions. We do sometimes sell to the EU so I know we need to be GPSR compliant by 13th December 2024.
We do not need or require any product safety warnings or documents for our products - I am happy they can be used safely as intended without it. I therefore believe I need to go into each individual listing in each country and attest to this - would that be correct? I am trying to see if we can do this on a bulk upload spreadsheet and I know we will get the usual bot pushback on some listings which we will then need to appeal (I imagine!)
We now have an EU based responsible person we can use. Do I add this information on the Account Health Page (for each country) under Submit Compliance Documents - assuming they are counted as valid (currently saying yes) does that now suffice? Will Amazon pull that detail from there into each product listing page to satisfy the responsible person and manufacturer information must be displayed on each product listing? Or do we have to also edit each listing to add the manufacturer and responsible person information into the Product Description?
Labelling requirements - we have an identifier on every product already along with manufacturer information (assuming URL and phone number suffices). Am I correct in thinking we will need to send out the Responsible Person information with every order - it will not fit on the product itself? Can this be in English or does it have to be translated depending on destination country?!
What a mess! Thank you.

Hi, I've been researching the same thing as I have products in the EU that don't require safety warnings, but my business is outside of the EU and I require a RP.
You don't need to update every listing. You just need to fill in your manufacturer and RP details in the Account Health section. The same place you entered your declaration that the product was safe. Amazon will put the info on the listing for you once you fill this in.
Labelling requirements - You need to label either the product or packaging or include a contact document inside the packaging that lists your manufacturer and RP contact details. It can be in English.
I've been looking for a reasonably priced RP to represent my brand in the EU. Do you mind telling me the company you found for your RP and the cost per product you were quoted? Thanks
