Fraudlent Refend Requests Coming from a Vexatious Competitor

I have a serious and recent concern pertaining to what I perceive to be fraudulent customer refunds on my company's FBA/Seller Central account. Suddenly, out of nowhere our account is seeing an extremely high return rate in just over a week. It looks to me like a paid and coordinated attack from a vexatious competitor looking to economically harm our business on Amazon. Our company sells the most competitively priced product in our catogory on Amazon and I believe that one of our competitors is buying up our product, simply to return it and ask for a refund in an aggregious attempt and sabotage our selling status on Amazon.

Previously, we had next to no returns at all in well over a year on our account and out of nowhere, (for the same quality of product) in a span of just over one week, we have received 8 customer refund/returns for various SKUs that we sell on Amazon FBA I believe very strongly that this refund activity is the act of one of our competitors that are upset with our competitive pricing structure on Amazon, and they are attempting to damage our reputation, and status as an FBA seller by buying up our stock and returning it for a refund.

Does anyone here have any experience in deaing with Amazon customer support for a similar matter? Our entire company believes this sudden increase in customer refunds to be fraudulent/deceptive business practices from our competition, and that these tactics are being deployed to arbitrage our business and hurt our selling status on Amazon. Our products all have COCs and COAs, and we NEVER get returns like this from our B2B customer orders, so, we know this is fraudulent refund activity from a competitor.

Anyone have any advice for me? I've already sent the orders numbers pertaining to the assumed fraudulent refunded orders to my Amazon Rep reporting my concerns.
