Counterfeit claim True/False?
Is it a safe assumption to say that if I don’t have a Letter of Authorization (LOA) from the brand, Amazon will flag the inventory sold under their brand name as counterfeit. It’s not a copy or clone of anything, but it’s wise to assume that Amazon will flag authentic inventory as counterfeit if a brand is being sold without their explicit authorization to sell any of their goods under their name?

They may or may not flag it; but if they do, then you are done.
So safest is yes, assume that they will catch it, and don't sell items for which you are not authorized. Don't let the fact that others get away with it lure you in.

You are expected to be authorized to retail for a brand. If you owned a brand, would you like to have control over it?

As of this time it is not likely that Amazon will flag you.
What is likely that the brand themselves will file a complaint. At that time Amazon will want a LOA or determine the merchandise as counterfeit.
