Error message when uploading an ean number - anyone else had this?
Never had a problem before. Upload the barcode number and won’t let me create the listing - think someone else had a sim issue but not sure how got resolved? Called Amazon…said they would call back 
Any assistance appreciated.

Yeah, Had this issue before, annoying, a few reasons:
- You bought your barcodes from ebay and they have been resold
- You already used them but deleted the old product thinking the barcodes have been released for reuse
- Your using the same sku that was linked to a different or previous ean
Solution
Try searching the ean code in your inventory or in amazons “search for product”
Try a different ean.

I experienced similar problems. And this was the advise I followed. To cross check bar code number. To make sure it is accurate. Sometimes manufacturers can get it wrong or incomplete.
Most of the time, the issue is resolved by adding a zero in front or zero at the end.
