Book listing not showing up
HI. I have been selling the same book on Amazon for 24 years. I am the author, publisher and only distributor of the book.
More and more often my listing for a new copy of the book does not show up in lieu of many used copies for sale.
As of the last few days my listing under "Other sellers on Amazon" does show up on a desktop computer but does not show up on my phone or the phones of others whom I know. The "filter" option does not even include "New" as a choice.
I am not here to promote my book so I am not mentioning the title or putting in the Amazon link.
If anybody has an idea why this is happening I would appreciate you letting me know.

Are you listing through Amazon Advantage or Seller Central?
Are you sure there are no other people listing as "new"? If you see such a copy, I would buy it to A) verify it's not pirated (you do have a copyright registration, correct?) and B) deceptively listed a used copy as "new."
Either scenario can be reported to Amazon.

Look and see if the book offered comes from FBA. If you ship the book yourself as merchant fulfilled, 90% of the time (new or used) Amazon will give the buy box to a FBA merchant even if you have a much lower price. I would say that 75% of the books we sell have a lower price than the buy box but Amazon will always pick the one that they will make the most profit from.

I may be having the same issue, is your listing going to ‘Incomplete’ status? Books I have listed and sold before (also 15+ years on Amazon) are now occasionally getting error of

I have run into a similar issue where sales of new books have dropped to almost o while used book sales have jumped way up. What what Amazon AI is up to NOW?

Interestingly have found that my books appear sometimes on the Amazon platform but sometimes do not. I have relatives and friends all over the country and have asked them to check certain listings. Often, at least some of them say our listing does not show up. I of course see them all of the time. That tells me that Amazon is cheatings or why would they show up on my browser with my IP all of the time.
