Investigation completed – shipment contents counted and confirmed // How to appeal

Hello @all,

how would I appeal an inbound shiopment closure if amazon states "Investigation completed – shipment contents counted and confirmed".

As a quick background: We shipped goods to FBA using UPS (parcels slips bought through amazon tranport partner programm).

Goods were checked by german customs and british customs (basically confirming the qty shipped). UPS reports no damages or losses in the tracking. But I can not open an investigation for lost inventory and amazon simply closed the shipment with the above statement.

How do you handle such cases? Any MOD who can offer assistance?

This keeps happening especially with UK warehouses recently.

Hello @Seller_GTqqdSu8W19bD,

Thank you for posting.

As per Reconcile your shipment Help Page:

Investigation completed – shipment contents counted and confirmed means, that Amazon has investigated the delivered boxes or pallets and associated units. When you see your items being marked as Investigation completed, it means Amazon physically counted the units upon receipt. In these scenarios, when the receiving process starts at our fulfilment centres, Amazon first matches all of the received boxes with the boxes expected according to your shipping plan. Amazon then proceeds to physically count all the units being stored. When all of the boxes are successfully matched and the physical count is completed, that's when items are marked Investigation Completed – shipment contents counted and confirmed in Seller Central.

These products are no longer eligible for research.

If you have any information that will help locate any of these missing units, contact Selling Partner Support. If we locate the missing units, we will add them to your inventory. Otherwise, we will deem the units short-shipped and a reimbursement cannot be issued.

Hope this helps!

Kind regards,

Julia.
