Help with variation issue

Hi! I tried to add a new ASIN to an existing variation. At first it seemed like everything was fine but then Amazon removed the new ASIN from the variation. The ASIN is now its own listing. The problem is that the ASIN still shows as part of the variation on our catalogue (in the parent ASIN edit view and on the actual catalogue). I have tried to fix it via upload but nothing happened. Can someone help to understand why this is and can I fix it somehow?

Hi, unfortunately uploading new spreadsheet will not help. What you need to do is delate the listings including Parent ASIN, wait 24 hours and then upload new spreadsheet with you ASINs but use different Parent.

And in case your not aware, are you actually trying to add a valid variation?

A variation should be exactly what it says on the tin.

ie. A different colour, flavour, smell etc.

Not a different product. So for example, you can't have cat treats, with flavours liver, beef etc and a dog treat with flavours liver beef etc.

In that example it would be two entirely separate variation listings.
