GS1 codes not working
I have purchased Barcodes from GS1 on my company name but I don't know how to use them when I try to use them on my new listing it showing me an error of 8572 and asking for brand name but I have not registered brand yet if anyone knows Please help me. Thankyou

have you put the brand name on the barcode listings on GS1?
Though you don’t actually need GS1 barcodes, you could just apply for GTIN exemption on the brand, provided your brand is affixed to your product.

You need to go into GS1 select the number and get the certificate, then open a case with Amazon and attach the certificate so they can validate it and then they can be used. If you dont have a brand name you will have to use Generic as a name, but if you have a brand thats going to cause you issues later sadly,but thats where you are

hiya, if your a small seller, pick a random name for your amazon brand that isnt taken by somebody else, apply to list under this name, then apply for a GTIN exemption, this way you can list as much as you want under that brand name without faffing around with gs1 barcodes, when you apply for the brand and exemption they will ask for something with that particular branding permanently attached to the item or packaging, just mock something up doesnt have to be something you actually sell, if your planning to make this your full time job do a bit of research and pick a name that isnt trademarked with a view to trademarking it when you start selling loads, good luck dude
