Application Approval for Diapering Category Issue
I have applied selling approval application for Diapering Category on September 9th and instantly rejected. I emailed the team who reviewed my application to see what's wrong in my application. Waited for 2 whole days and didn't receive any useful massage. All they said "Submit the documents that meets the requirement". From my understanding, everything is right for me. Today, I tried submitting again and still got instant rejection. I am disappointed in Amazon Team which are not able to provide the cause of rejection. This is the case number : 15997300291, if anybody here can spot the issue and help.

1. Here is why you received no real information...
This is how Amazon thinks. When you were in High School and turned in an assignment, the teacher would review the work, and return it saying, “X, Y, and Z are missing, go fix it, turn it in again, and it will be correct”.
Now when you are in college and turn in an assignment for review, the instructor returns it and says, “it is not right, do it over”.
Can you see the difference? In High School the student is told what to do. Basically, the student has to use no internal thought process. Now in college, the student is told nothing about how to correct the situation, what may be missing, or what should be omitted. A much high thought process is required to solve the problem. This method Forces deep self-introspection before a second submission is turned in.
It is quite evident that Amazon EXPECTS and REQUIRES the Sellers to show they have given deep thought to the total situation before applying. As you found out, Amazon is not going to tell you the corrections that need to be made.
2. You should have sent a commercial invoice showing you have a credit account with the manufacture.
Amazon knows what an invoice includes. An invoice is used when Your USA business has a retail commercial credit account with the manufacturer. Most all invoices include all of the following:
- YOUR: business name, business address, business phone, sales tax exempt number, your EIN number, your credit line, and terms of sale
- MANUFACTURER’S: address, phone, EIN number, account Rep’s name
- PRODUCT’S: quantity, SKU-Model number,
- DISCOUNTS PROCESSES ON THIS PURHASE: quantity, sale, specials
- TERMS OF SHIPPING: method, who pays, company used, tracking number
- TERMS OF PAYMENT: 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, interest assessed
Some have more, but they all use the same basic format. Even when you call and make a small online order and pay by credit card, an invoice is still sent to you separately containing all of the above.
If you purchased the items from a distributor using cash and carry, or on-line with a credit card, and paid sales tax on it, you are not buying wholesale from the manufacturer.

Hello there @Seller_DF0V5WN49i3jx- appreciate you joining us here in the forums community!
It is true that certain products, categories, and sub-categories will require approval to sell within, which is separate from receiving approval from a brand to sell their products. It is also true that our teams may not always be able to divulge specific rejection reasons. Should you have the option to re-apply to sell in the category, please review this Seller University video on invoice requirements for when you apply to sell, along with this complete breakdown of the approvals process before doing so.
I'll also note that other factors like account history and health, among many other variables, may impact a decision, and that support teams won't have any additional information to share regarding these decisions, per the above help page.
Thanks,
Danny
