Product mistakenly identified as a Natural health / Drug product appeal keeps sending robot responses

Hello, I need assistance with this appeal.

I am not new to this, many times my products which are all cosmetics, get flagged. Typically its a no biggy and I explain that its not a drug and therefor does not need a natural health product number , and that its a cosmetic and its reinstated.

OR sometimes my terminology was a little "iffy" and it was flagging it under this and in this case the team told me what to remove.

This time, its been maybe 5 responses back and forth same thing. Each time the staff keep looking for me to

- Upload photo of the label in french and english with full ingredients in french and english (It already has that)

- Upload photo that shows on the label the natural health product or drug identification number (does not have because its a cosmetic, thus it does not require such)

The product does not make claims to cure or treat anything, and it does not cure anything and it is cosmetic. So I keep asking them to specifically inform me what is the main issue with the listing. However they keep giving the same robot response this time its really fustrating.

Greetings @Seller_cuqbWem1a7BaZ,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience with us. We definitely understand how frustrating it can be when dealing with repeated flagging issues, especially when you've successfully resolved similar situations in the past. It's clear you're well-versed in navigating these challenges, and we appreciate your patience as we work to address this particular case.

I've taken the initiative to contact the responsible team directly to get more clarity on your situation. Here's what I found out:

The team has indicated that you will need to update the product labeling with NPN/DIN number details into the detail page for further review. Once you've made this update, they've asked that you please respond to the case ID: 16884721771. This will allow them to proceed with the reinstatement of your product (ASIN: B0C87G697Y).

For your reference, an NPN (Natural Product Number) is an eight-digit number that appears on the label of natural health products (NHPs) that have been authorized for sale in Canada.

The reason for this request likely originates from the specific ingredients in your product (like Zingiber Officinale). Some components, even in cosmetic formulations, can trigger a classification as a natural health product under regulatory guidelines. This classification can occur despite your product's intended use as a cosmetic. The presence of certain active ingredients or their concentrations might have prompted this categorization, leading to the request for NPN/DIN information. This additional step ensures compliance with all applicable regulations.

We understand this might be different from your previous experiences with cosmetic products, and we appreciate your flexibility in addressing this requirement.

Thank you for utilizing the Seller Forums to seek assistance. Remember, our community and I are here if you need any further clarification or support as you navigate this process.

Best,

-Roxy
