Return was refunded, but still showing as pending action

I have almost 100 FBM returns still showing in the Pending Actions window, even though I have manually refunded each one that has been returned to us. The item was Auto Authorized, I received it, I clicked on the "Issue Refund" button, the amount was deducted from my account, yet they are still sitting in the pending actions window.

There are two green buttons, one that says "Auto Authorized," and one that says "Prior Refund Applied." The "Issue Refund" button is greyed out because there is nothing left for me to do. Some of these returns have been sitting in the Pending Actions window for weeks.

This has been the norm since one of the recent "improvements" Amazon made to Seller Central. No way to make the notifications go away, no way to get rid of "Pending Status", nothing you can do, despite the fact that you have completed everything you were responsible for. I've seen them hang around for up to about 2 weeks after issuing the refund, but it's quite variable, with some going away immediately.

the only explanation I know of is just more sloppy programming by Amazon. AFAIK, all you can do is wait until they drop off, and hope that you don't miss one you need to do something with because it's lost in the midst of all the ones that are finished but still hanging around.

Is there any way to tell which ones Amazon refunded already? i have a few that just went away and now say prior refund applied but one is also still pending and I received the item back just now. I dont know if I need to issue refund.. as all of them said that but then just go away, im not sure what to do on any of these as Amazon handles some but not all? to me thats more confusing...also, you would think if Amazon already refunded them, they would take away the Issue refund button as I heard you could end up refunding them twice? how and why is that possible if true?

I have the same problem. According to customer service, they will stay on your pending actions for 31 days, even if you have received the item back and have refunded, after which they will "fall off". I just had two fall off Friday, 31 days after they appeared. One had had a partial refund, the other a full refund. Customer service said they do not hurt your metrics by staying pending. I did not notice any problems with my metrics during the time or today, after the two fell off (I still have two more pending).
