Subject: Concern Regarding Safety Claims and Chargeback Process
Dear Moderator
I’d like to bring to your attention a critical issue regarding the current Safe-T claim and chargeback process, which is creating a frustrating and harmful cycle for sellers.
Here’s the scenario:
A buyer claims they did not receive the package and is issued a refund.
As the seller, we provide proof of delivery, including a photo showing the package clearly delivered in front of the house.
Based on this, a Safe-T claim is filed, and Amazon reverses the refund, returning the funds to us.
The buyer then initiates a chargeback through their payment provider.
We again submit the same proof, and the chargeback is denied.
Unfortunately, the buyer sometimes re-files the chargeback, and in this second round, Amazon refunds the buyer and deducts the amount from the seller once again.
This cycle is both unfair and unsustainable. It creates unnecessary financial and emotional strain for sellers who follow all the rules and provide solid proof of delivery.
I respectfully urge the moderation team to look into this policy and consider revising it. The current system opens the door for potential abuse and does not provide adequate protection for honest sellers.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. We truly appreciate your support in creating a fair and secure selling environment.
Best regards,

Amazon has nothing to do with chargeback decisions except for delivering the information to you and forwarding what you provide to the financial institution.
