Handmade products listing

Hello,

I'm quite new here on Amazon, so I don't know much about all these listing options and many others on the site. I would like to know if handmade products must be listed only in the Handmade section or if they can be listed in another section without additional fees. This information might be available on the site, but I haven't found it. I would appreciate it if someone could help me with this issue.

Thank you,

Lory

If you sell in one of the regular categories you will have slightly higher fees. You may also lose the £30 professional monthly fee waiver too if you sell more in non-handmade than handmade.

Plus, unless your products have GS1 barcodes on them, you will have to apply for GTIN exemption to list items without barcodes in the categories you want.

I sell in both - handmade for my prints, non-handmade for my greeting cards, only because at the time I started listing, the handmade categories had less visibility so I thought it best for the cards. The visibility has been improved since then.
