Prevented from making coupons
I am trying to understand this. I have products that I wanted to put on sale and the most appealing way to customers is Coupons. It used to be I could make a coupon and it would run with no issues according to the budget I set. Now I am getting an error insufficient sales history so that most of the items I want this coupon on it won't show. Please tell me how I can get this fixed.

It is true that ASINs are required to have a sales history before they are eligible to run on a coupon. While there is no workaround for this, I would recommend reading through this page on Understanding coupon errors and the Terms and Conditions for offering coupons to help inform on any ASINs where coupon creation is currently possible!
