Till what time can we edit a shipment awb?

Hi fellow sellers and amazon mods,

We sent one shipment through usps well in time, but it seemed to be arriving late due to remote area location.

So to protect the OTDR, we sent another courier by dhl with same merchandise, to this same buyer and edited the shipment with this new dhl number.

Now the first shipment from usps seems to have been delivered today and the second shipment sent through dhl is showing arriving late due to again remote area situation.

Can we re-edit the shipment tracking back to origional usps tracking (which got delived today @on24th dec.) ? The promised delivery date is still 26th Dec. But the usps has already delivered and our said order now has dhl tracking, which is saying 'arriving later than 26th Dec."

We sent two shipments, incurring double the cost, to save OTDR? What can we do now. If we re-edit the shipment with original usps number, will it be counted delivered in time? The usps delivred on 24th and our given delivery date for the order is 26th Dec.

please advise

thanks

OP: "So to protect the OTDR, we sent another courier by dhl with same merchandise"

You are going about things the wrong way. Remember, in the mail order business, the buyer, not the seller, always pays for the shipping. Thus, when selecting a shipper to use, it is always best to see what benefits each has to offer you, the seller.

When you buy shipping thru Amazon, Amazon handles the INR problem such as yours. You don't have to send a second product or worry if it meets the delivery window. Just make Shure you ship within the guidelines.
