EAN numbers not beind accepted
Hi,
I sell a lot of John Lewis items. Tried popping them on Amazon, and the ean is not accepted (it is usually just eight numbers)
Is this because they are not allowed to be sold on Amazon? Cheers

When you click on the dropdown for type, do you select EAN or UPC?

EAN codes are 12 (Some 13) digits long, looks like an in house JL code.

Could you find out what the first 4 numbers of another John Lewis barcode are and try putting those in front of it?

I see they are cheap enough and sent to your email.
Being thick, but what do I do then? Use list a product and pop my new EAN number in? Amazon is baffling me at times, find ebay easier to list with.

My understanding is that EAN numbers bought from ebay and the like may work but only as long as whoever bought them initially continues to pay the annual fee for them to remain valid.
Since the OP has bought end of lines and presumably won’t have access to any more once these are gone then they might all be sold before that happens.

Purchase items direct from auction, sometimes in large bulk form. I have items selling on bay, which will probably last me out my lifetime!
Some are good sellers, but would be better if I could open up another selling platform for them
