FBA Units marked as expired for

My units were randomly marked as expired by Amazon, so I created a case to have them checked. After inspection, it turns out they were not expired. I was assured they would be moved back to sellable status, but this hasn't happened yet. Now, I'm being told they are attached to removal requests, which isn't the case. Luckily, I have automatic removal turned off, so my units aren't being sent back. However, I'm confused about what's happening because my case keeps getting closed as 'Answered' with incorrect information. They even attempted bin checks on units that were already verified. Has anyone successfully resolved a similar issue or effectively communicated the problem to Amazon? It seems they're struggling to rectify a problem they created.

First, attempt to cancel any removal order tied to these units (often doesn't work, but occasionally does). Then create another case with Amazon a request that the items be moved back to sellable inventory. (reference the case that showed the items were not expired) In our experience this still generates another bin check request. Hopefully you'll catch it.

Hi @Seller_3GmwnFWDRHoBn, I just want to echo @Seller_z3XfkorVSmnEY's advice. If these items were marked as expired, the removal would be required. If you do not have your automatic removal settings set up properly, these may be marked for disposal.
