A product I never meant to list in Mexico was taken down and is showing as a violation. How do I rectify this?

I got an email saying I was in violation of Mexican rules for the product I sell. I never listed the product in the Amazon Mexico marketplace but it now shows that store as at risk. I just want to delete this product from the Mexico marketplace ONLY, it should have never been available for sale outside the US. How do I go about doing this? When I go to the Mexico inventory page it has a button to fix the listing but I never wanted the listing to be live in Mexico in the first place.

Hello @Seller_mQGbzpHNAQ4cF,

Thanks for posting to the Forums. There is a great post to our Community Manager @Danika_Amazon made regarding how to remove other countries if you are not selling in them:

How to remove countries from an Amazon seller account

When you sign up for a selling plan you are automatically enrolled in the North America Unified account which allows you ability to sell in US, Canada, Mexico Brazil. Check out North America and Brazil Unified Account and the North America and Brazil Unified Account FAQ pages for your review. I wanted to highlight this point:

What if I don't want to sell on more than one store?

If you have been upgraded to a Unified Account and do not want to sell on another store, keep the store switcher on the country on which you originally registered. Your products will only list on that store.

Seller "Medic" has also provided some guidance regarding what sellers should do if they do not want to sell in particular marketplaces on this thread.

I hope this helps.

Regards,

- Manny
