Locked out of Brand Registry
Hello Team!
I have a case ID 17004104521
I recently applied for brand registry but was denied. I have no clue why or how to remedy the situation. I followed up in the Case ID thread with a ton of documentation around Trademark submissions, Tax IDs, Federal EIN, Manufacturing Contracts and Invoices but keep getting denied. Could you please advise how I can get this squared away?
I am happy to jump on a video call if needed.
Thank you so much for your help!

OP: " I followed up in the Case ID thread with a ton of documentation around Trademark submissions, Tax IDs, Federal EIN, Manufacturing Contracts and Invoices but keep getting denied"
You went about things the wrong way.
When you are the brand owner, you are selling your own brand of products. You ARE the manufacturer, and producer of the products you sell. There are no invoices to submit, no other companies involved, just you and your branded products.
Your product will have YOUR brand name on them, YOUR GS1 UPC's, YOUR Packaging, YOUR warranties, and YOUR COC necessary to sell in the USA, all in YOUR Brand Name.
Where you have the product manufacturer, and who you select to have your products made, is only your business.
You are no different than Sony or Kellogg's. You only see in what country the product was manufactured. You do not actually see where their products are manufacturer, or who they contract to make the products for them.

Now that your application has been messed up with the wrong information, it will be a lot harder to get an approval to sell it on Amazon.
A good start would be making sure that your brand name dot com site is owned by you. A place where potential buyers can purchase the items. At least, you will be able to show Amazon that your brand really exists in the real world.

Hello @Seller_G2maIAPMBQRG4
My name is Sandy from the community manager team.
Thank you for posting on forums!
I looked into your case and have some thoughts on why the application was declined.
Reviewing the documents you attached, it seems like you provided a Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) instead of a TAX ID/Employer Identification Number (EIN). (I know they sound/look similar...)
1. A TIN is one that is issued by the Social Security Administration or the IRS and should be used for tax returns and other tax related documents.
2. An Employer Identification Number (EIN) is a tax ID for business entities such as LLCs and corporations.
The correct Tax ID/EIN is located on your EIN+Letter+.pdf document at the very top right corner.
Next Steps: Could you mention in the case that you made a mistake and provide the correct one? Please let me know once you do that and I will use your appeal to send in a re-review request to the brand verification team.
Thank you!
Sandy

Great news, the Business Verification team reviewed your documents and processed the application to the enrollment team.
Seems like you were just approved a few hours ago! Congratulations and welcome to brand registry!
