Amazon Returns Non FBA report
Hi,
I am trying to understand the Amazon return report.
I knew that all items enrolled in the prepaid return label program will automatically be refunded after the first scan. But when I download the report under the column name resolution there are other kind of resolutions. Like automated refund, standard refund. Does anyone know the definition of these words and when they fall into these categories?
Thanks

Hello @Seller_BKzt6K5RnYsSO
Thank you for visiting the seller forums. According to this help page in Seller Central, automated refunds are those refunds made at first scan. As far as standard refunds, I believe those are the "Manual Authorizations".
The refunds made at first scan are Automated Authorizations, i.e. if the return request falls under Amazon's 30-day return policy, then Amazon automatically authorizes the return request. Manual Authorization occurs if the return request doesn't fall under any Amazon policy, and then sellers have the flexibility to authorize the return requests.
