'Infringement' warning for mentioning product range, which appears on the product?
I've received an 'Account At Risk' email which is supposedly for 'trademark misuse' and am trying to dispute it with SS but to no avail. The robotic template replies don't address any of the points I make.
I have been selling products from Lesser & Pavey on Amazon for years, and they have 'The Leonardo Collection' on both the product and the packaging. It is the name of the product range. I was going to link to their site to show you but I can't post a non-Amazon link here.
SS currently seem to think my listings with 'The Leonardo Collection' in the title are 'misusing' this trademark, but it doesn't make sense. This wording is on the actual product, the packaging, and is clearly the name of the product range, but I'm not allowed to mention it at all?

My guess is the "Leonardo" word which is trademarked by several companies in different classes.
It is the usual "sledgehammer" tactics by Amazon but there may or may not be any merit to it.
I suggest you contact the brand owner and discuss it with them. They may give you some ammunition on how to fight it, especially if they have also trademarked it

Lesser and Pavey do have the trademark 'The Leonardo Collection' registered. It is registration number UK00911043205
You need to appeal to Amazon telling them the listing has been flagged incorrectly and that Lesser and Pavey own the trademark and quote the registration number above . If you have a relationship with Lesser and Pavey you could ask them to write a letter of authority for you
It maybe a good idea tagging a mod or hoping a mod picks up on this as it is a mistake.
The above assumes that the brand name and EAN on the product are Lesser and Pavey or The Leonardo Collection. If it is listed under a different brand or a non Lesser and Pavey EAN you maybe in more tricky water.
There are trademarks for Leonardo as well which is probably where the bots are getting confused. They are picking on a single word rather than the whole term.

Stupid question, but the term they're flagging isn't just the 'Leonardo' part, is it?
I wouldn't be surprised if there was a trademark for that name held by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles rights holders, and it's being flagged for that, rather than for 'The Leonardo Collection'.
