What to do with listing now fba with no fbm stock?

Hi again
FBA progressing nicely and Amazon have refunded the lost item in the first shipment. So far so good!
Can I ask please what it is best to do with the original listings which now have had a fba condition added and up and running but I have no stock for listed for fulfilled by myself. Is it best to leave them as they are with no stock and getting reminders to stock up? Or, is there a way to rest them until they are required again, if ever?

Thanks as always for your guidance.

If you only sell FBA you can put your holiday settings on and that will effectively stop all FBM offers.

I suppose what I am really asking is - is it okay to leave the original fulfilled my merchant with no stock and receiving reminders from Amzon to stock up, or do I need to put them into some kind of resting state? Thanks

You will not be penalised directly, but the listing will gown down in search results (ranking). If you will restock the item, it may be harder to get sales.

I usually keep a few units on them.

Depending on your shipping settings it can be cheaper for non prime customers to buy FBM rather than FBA. I don’t get many FBM orders but it’s there if someone prefers it.

Also if your FBA stock is low, Amazon might shift some to other warehouses, so it could become temporarliy unavailable. It’s also possible that your FBA listing could get suppressed or suspended out of the blue, so it’s always good to have an FBM backup just in case.
