3 of the "Amazon Services Business Solutions Agreement" and the "Unsuitable Inventory Investigations Policy"

Help! I just received this notice: Your Amazon Seller account was deactivated under the section 3 of the "Amazon Services Business Solutions Agreement" and the "Unsuitable Inventory Investigations Policy". During this time, you may be unable to create removal orders for your inventory present in Amazon Fulfillment Centers and funds will not be transferred to you but will stay in your account while we work with you to address this issue in in accordance with our Funds Disbursement Eligibility Policy:

https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/help.html?itemID=G9RA9LYBJ3QP27M6

Amazon’s Business Solutions Agreement can be found at https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/1791 and Unsuitable Inventory Investigations Policy can be found here: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/GH4YYXNDRW9BSZEN.

I submitted the required invoices yesterday (as I purchased all products directly from the manufacturer) for the two ASINs that were listed.

Today, I received a notice that "We received your submission but do not have enough information to reactivate your account at this time. To reactivate your account, please submit the following documentation to support the inventory present in your Amazon store. "

This time they listed 6 new ASIN. 4 of which aren't even listed in my account, and 2 which are different brands. I again submitted invoices for the two that are listed.

My questions are:

1 - Did they accept the old invoices for the original ASINS in the first complaint, as they're not listed in the 2nd complaint?

2 - What do I do about the 4 that aren't in my inventory?

3- How often do people actually get their account reinstated?

4 - Will Amazon just keep going thru all of my inventory and asking for invoices? Everything I have listed I had to get ungated in, so I have already sent in invoices from the manufacturer or a wholesalers to demonstrate where the items have come from.

5 - What did I do wrong? Nothing was purchased retail, all came from the manufacturer itself or a wholesale distributor.

Hello @Seller_gfpt9jFtVp6aY,

Thank you for taking the time to connect with us via the Forums. I understand how the deactivation of your account can be confusing and frustrating. There are actually two different processes happening. One is at the account level (this deactivated your account) and the second is FBA related (for the items that are in the FBA warehouse).

As you provided a Performance Notification, I am able to research your specific situation with help from an internal team.

I reviewed all the Performance Notifications, and I see how you may be unsure of what to provide. In most cases you will need an invoices.

The ASIN's under review: B08J67HBGY B07KRW7GWK from the 1st Performance Notification - Looks like you deleted B08J67HBGY from your inventory. The invoices you provided may be adequate to receive items back from FBA but not to reactivate your account. Something you could have researched: "Mary Kay is not authorized to be sold on Amazon or any third-party sites."

2 - What do I do about the 4 that aren't in my inventory?

You may have deleted some of the ASIN's from your inventory but if you listed the items, Amazon sees this as your intent to sell that item. You will still need the invoices. I believe if you deleted the ASIN's you do not have inventory in FBA, is this correct?

If you are able to prove you have not violated any policy for the ASIN's under review, you could successfully reinstate your account.

To receive all your inventory back from FBA, you will need invoices for every item. The FBA investigation is not the same as the Account investigation. You appeal each separately.

To reactivate your account, you would need to not only provide invoices but also prove you had the right to sell the items. It can be confusing, but the UN-gating process is totally different from the Intellectual Property Policy for Sellers. You MUST have permission from the Brand to sell their items.

Please review this policy: Unsuitable inventory investigations policy

I suggest you follow the Performance Notification from Jan. 20, 2025 and schedule the interview for supply chain verification. It gives the link in the Notification. Have ALL the documentation requested ready to upload.

Something to understand: If you are asked for Invoices, only send invoices. Do not send packaging images unless you are asked for those. Refer to the Invoice requirements for appealing a policy violation. Seller University is also a very good reference.

When you list under an existing ASIN, you must make sure that listing is correct. Make sure the Brand, and all details are truly what the item is.

I hope this gives you some clarity of what you need to do. As you are a new Seller, I wish your experience would have been different.

Thank you for reaching out on the Forums. The Forums and I are here to support you.
