Account blocked becouse of creditcard problem
anyone experience with this? Amazon has been blocking my account for a few days because it is not possible to debit from credit card.
But until May 10 they have always collected the monthly amount (my account runs on amazon.co.uk but I no longer sell there because of Brexit so can’t settle with turnover).
Now I have relinked my credit card several times and for that they debit 1.17 euros from my credit card every time, that just works (already done 8 times through their past days).
Have called credit card company but there is nothing wrong with the card (ing business card) and also see that Amazon always collects an amount but also that they have not tried to debit that monthly amount at all, so nothing has failed.
Amazon keeps pointing at credit card companies, now it would even be a debit card, which is absolutely not the case (even checked with ING again). So amazon says I should get a new real credit card. they do not respond to the fact that they always write off 1.17.
becomes completely simple but in the meantime they only keep debiting 1.17 from card and blocking my account…

I am still receiving orders in my account because the products are still for sale.
however, I can no longer process those orders because I don’t have access.
can also not switch off the products or put the shop in holiday mode.
cannot answer customer questions nor process returns.
customers will therefore no longer receive orders that they place, will not receive an answer to customer questions and will no longer receive their money for returned products.
what a mess what Amazon makes of it…
so if i go to amazon i can only add a new credit card, but since i don’t have one that won’t happen.

i use a creditcard but amazon keeps telling me it is not a creditcard but a debit card.
when i now go into my amazon account i only get the following message:
Credit Card Invalid
You must update your existing credit card information or add a new credit card to regain full access to this seller account.

when i click that i get:
Unable to charge
Amazon is not able to charge with the listed charge methods. This could be either due to incorrect details or lack of bank’s permission for respective marketplace.
But in mean time they keep charging me for 1,17 euro’s each day (multiple times)
and i can only add a creditcard there, not a debit card.
So i have no idea how to add a debit card in stead of a credit card.
also asked amazon to change the monthly fee to the german account becouse there is the money i earn an the montly fee can be paid there without a problem. but first 7 times they dit not respond to that question and after making a new ticket for that i got the answer that it is not possible.

when i added this creditcard 2 years ago to amazon it was a prepaid creditcard (but stil a real creditcard from mastercard), 6 til 12 months ago it is set to a normal creditcard with 2500 euro credit. they have used it al the time to get payments for monthly feed. but this month suddenly it is not a real creditcard anymore. i do not understand…
orders keep getting in but can not ship them anymore,
so that wil be a lot of angry custommers waiting for orders what wil nevver come. lots of a-z claims and bad revieuws…

it is a normal credit card. when i got that credit card it worked as kind of prepaid. but that was not even visible to Amazon because it was just a real credit card but only with a credit of 0 euros (and then deposited a few hundred euros on it, so that there was a credit of a few hundred euros on that card. they just realized that there was a credit.
That credit card was then simply accepted for that reason. now I have been using that credit card for 2 years and it was also converted from prepaid to a credit of 2500 euros on the card 6 to 12 months ago.
and in the meantime, that card has always been accepted by amazon and money has also been collected from it for a monthly fee (10-05-2021 still collected).
now suddenly according to amazon it is no longer a real credit card and I have to request a real one from my bank.
the bank is now going to exchange my card for a new one, but after that expiry date and such changes, it remains the same type of card. nothing can change there either, since it is a normal standard credit card from mastercard.
So Amazon continues to claim that I don’t have a real credit card but that it is a debit card. (they don’t respond to why they have used and collected normally for 2 years) and I have to go to my bank to solve that problem and apply for a real credit card.
My bank (meanwhile on the phone for 1.5 hours) have checked everything 6 times, which confirm that it is a real credit card and not a debit card. they can also see that amazon has always debited from this in the past, also that they have applied for an authorization 8 times in the last time by debiting 1.17 euros from the card. that too has always worked.
bank can also see that amazon has made no attempt to write off the monthly amount of 25 pounds. that payment has not failed, but has not been attempted.
In fact, Amazon will still deduct my monthly subscription costs for Amazon prime from that card.
so they can charge credit card for amazon prime.
they can deduct 8 times 1.17 euros from that card.
they have deducted the monthly fee for amazon from that card countless times
but suddenly it’s not a real credit card anymore
Shoot me…
and in the meantime dozens of orders have arrived on my account that I will no longer be able to process and of which customers will not receive their order, but they do not respond to questions about this.
