Asin Transfer to the second seller account

I have two seller accounts with different legal entities. I moved and live in a new country. My plan is to discontinue Account A and transfer the ASINS to Account B. Is the below method workable?

  • Wait the stock gone and close the ASIN in Account A, list the same ASIN and replenish from Account B
  • Create a new child ASIN and sell on Account B

@Seller_gXtqCrIGGY5aW I found your post. Could you pls. share your steps to transfer ASIN without violating the policy please?

@Seller_gXtqCrIGGY5aW Did your ranking and ad impression get back soon after the transfer? Did you transfer all of your ASINs already?

@Seller_ih5Ex3TitmoiFHow did you handle the country of origin change for your seller account? Did you create a second account and sell same ASINs?

Good Morning @Seller_kYys4voZ5W3Tw,

I just wanted to follow up with you on your discussion above.

First, please be careful with owning multiple selling accounts at one time. You cannot be active on both accounts at the same time and we wouldn't want you to get in trouble for that.

If you would like to move the ASIN to a new account and you use FBA:

  1. You can create the listing in the new account
  2. Wait until the inventory is low on the first account, and send in the inventory with enough time to get the items into FBA
  3. Then change the listing back to merchant fulfilled once it's received in until you run out of stock on the first account, so that way your listing can go live right away and not lose out on sales.

Since you live in a new country, I assume you are using FBA and not MFN correct?

Is this updating your COO on your new selling account? You should be able to edit it on your Account Info settings as I assume you are changing your business' address correct? You may have to go through Seller Identity Verification again so please be prepared for that.

Feel free to let us know if you have any additional questions about the information shared above. Have a wonderful rest of your Wednesday.

Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon
