IBA order refunds cannot be disputed via Safe-T Claims - 'Seller needs to be debited to be eligible to file SAFE-T claim.'
Hi Guys,
First post, just wanted to highlight this as I've seen a few people who have had the above message/issue when trying to raise a Safe-T claim
You currently cannot dispute fraudulent returns of Invoice By Amazon orders. You can also not refuse to give a refund on these order returns (from what seller support have told me). From what I can see, you can opt out of this service but for me it is worth the risk to keep this selling option open, just incredibly frustrating that it is money lost when these fraudulent returns do happen
Highlighting to inform others, and hopefully highlight to Amazon in the small hope they may take feedback on board and get this issue sorted going forward!
If anyone else has had this issue please comment so we can make this more visible to Amazon
Thanks

Hello! @Seller_Y74ztqYuPUvlI
This is Roberto. Thank you for taking the time to write about this, the IBA (Invoice by Amazon) team is aware of this situation, and they provided us with the following information a couple of months ago:
"Currently, SAFE-T coverage does not extend to IBA orders. However, the IBA team is working to improve the claims process for these orders. While we can't share specifics or timelines just yet, we'll be sure to update Sellers as soon as there are any changes in this regard."
I'd like to revisit this topic with their team and see if there is any progress with this. Are you able to share a few order examples in which you haven't been unable to file a SAFE-T claims?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Regards,
Roberto_Amazon
