Amazon is showing incorrect tracking info to customers.

Amazon is showing incorrect tracking info to customers. Does not match up with actual tracking info. On one usps shipping order, it showed delivered, but shipping is still on going on usps.com. On "business closed" tracking event, amazon showed "carrier delay" without much detail the customer can rely on.

So now customer blamed us. We had to ask customer to check the actual shipping company's tracking page instead of rely on amazon. How hard is it to show the same tracking detail as the shipping company instead of making up your own result??

You have to go by USPS tracking. Does tracking show delivered or not?

This buyer isn't in Connecticut by any chance is he?

As a buyer I learned many many years ago to disregard anything Amazon says regarding tracking history. It has never matched reality. It's a lot closer than it was all those years ago. I think that in the beginning Amazon simply made it up -- all of it.
